Jake Winston Biography:
Jake Winston is a storyteller. His life’s adventures, and the folks he encountered along the way, fill his stories. He populates his tales with scoundrels, the righteous and free spirits. Excitement, challenges, and solutions fill these exciting adventures. His books are fast moving page-turners that will make you laugh, cry, cheer, boo, and reflect on your own life.
He grew up in Seattle, Washington in the fifties, attended St. Edward Seminary, and finished his education at the University of Washington and Stanford. He began his career as a construction superintendent for Kaiser Engineers. He later joined a large West Coast firm, founded and operated a California branch office. He performed work all over the world, building power plants, steel mills, marine facilities, refineries, paper mills and other heavy industrial installations.
Today, Jake and Elizabeth, his wife and soul mate of fifty years, live in Hawaii with two cats. Writing is his new passion, but he cherishes time spent with his three sons, their families and six grandkids. Jake is thinking about replacing his mountain bike with a new boat. In the meantime, he is content to search out new restaurants and walk the beaches.
